Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a great shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases and stock shelves neatly
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures
• Comply with company policies and uphold security and confidentiality standards

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safely operate equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers
• Interpret and apply company policies
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales
