Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a key member of our store operations, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the store's appearance. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, stocking shelves, and collaborating with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills as required for the role.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and arrange merchandise displays.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
  • Communicate clearly with the team and escalate issues to management when necessary.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
  • Follow all company policies to uphold security and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years old or above.
  • Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
  • Ability to maintain store cleanliness and adhere to company policies.
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail work experience is a plus.
