Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a vital member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping journey.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and overall store operations.
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
- Comply with company policies and procedures to ensure data security.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of performing general cleaning duties and following company standards.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- High school diploma preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
