Job Description

As a Store Operations Assistant at Aldi, you will play a crucial role in maintaining store operations and ensuring a seamless customer experience. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and upholding the store's cleanliness standards. By working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to creating a positive shopping atmosphere and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer transactions, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
  • Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers
  • Communicate effectively with team members and report feedback to management
  • Conduct inventory counts and ensure accuracy
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
  • Uphold security and confidentiality standards
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Proficient in cash register operation and equipment handling
  • Capable of meeting physical demands such as lifting up to 45 pounds
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience is a plus
