Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in maintaining the store's operations by merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring a clean store environment. Your dedication to providing exceptional customer service will enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses
• Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining document security
• Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
• Perform general cleaning duties to company standards
• Strong communication skills
• Work well independently and in a team
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively
• Meet all requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
