Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and providing exceptional customer service. This position is full-time, averaging 32-40 hours per week, with a starting wage of $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's M.A.P. competencies in customer service and store operations.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Assist customers with their shopping experience and communicate effectively with the team.
• Provide feedback on products and inventory, participate in inventory counts, and adhere to cash policies.
• Follow all company policies and procedures while ensuring store security and confidentiality.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
• Capable of performing general cleaning tasks to company standards.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
