Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. As a crucial part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a welcoming shopping environment for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and provide feedback on product quality and issues.
• Comply with cash policies, company procedures, and maintain document security.
• Perform physical tasks such as stocking merchandise and general cleaning duties.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register accurately.
• Proficiency in operating store equipment and following company policies.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior retail experience is a plus.
