Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a valuable member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Responsibilities
- Consistently demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers throughout their experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and store operations.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
- Comply with company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment.
- General cleaning duties adherence.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
