Job Description

As a Store Operations Assistant at ALDI, you will play a critical role in the store's day-to-day operations, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to providing exceptional customer service and uphold company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
  • Conduct inventory counts and ensure accuracy
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
  • Comply with company policies, maintain security, and confidentiality
  • Perform other assigned duties as required

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
  • Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
  • Compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous retail experience is a plus
