Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join Aldi's team. As a valued member, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the team, you will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and support customers during their shopping journey.
- Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Adhere to company policies, maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Proficiency in providing courteous customer service.
- Experience in operating a cash register accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to use equipment such as a hand jack, floor scrubber, etc.
- Knowledge of general cleaning practices and adherence to company standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
