Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a neat and organized store, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. This is a Full-Time position with an average of 32-40 hours per week and a starting wage of $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses and follow company procedures.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain store standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prompt and courteous customer service skills.
• Efficient and accurate operation of a cash register.
• Safe and proper operation of equipment.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
• Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
