Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the store is well-organized and stocked. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, merchandising, and collaborating with team members to create a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, maintain clean store environment, and stock shelves neatly.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy of stock.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
• Follow security protocols and maintain confidentiality of data.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.
• Prior retail experience preferred.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in a retail setting is advantageous.
