Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store by merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness. Your dedication to exceptional customer service and collaboration with the ALDI team will create an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI’s Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Give feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Follow cash policies to minimize losses and uphold company procedures

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safely handle equipment and perform general cleaning duties
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and follow instructions efficiently
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience preferred
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to the role
