Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store operations and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and contributing to the overall cleanliness and organization of the store.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Stock merchandise, process customer purchases, and maintain tidy displays.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers with their needs.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, follow cash handling procedures, and uphold company policies.
• Perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, lifting items up to 45 pounds, and general cleaning.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Operational proficiency with cash registers and store equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma preferred, retail experience is a plus.
