Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and ensuring the store's cleanliness to provide an excellent shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the Aldi team to deliver exceptional customer service and uphold company standards.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently
• Process customer purchases, perform cleaning duties, and maintain neat displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
• Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and uphold company procedures
• Perform general cleaning duties and operate equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow company policies, maintain security, and ensure confidentiality
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older
• Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register
• Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning duties
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Organizational skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Ability to handle and sell alcoholic beverages as per state and local requirements

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail work experience is a plus
• Equivalent knowledge through education and experience
