Job Description

As a Store Operations Assistant at Aldi, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store runs smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with the Aldi team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts.
• Follow cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures while upholding security and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
• Capability to perform general cleaning duties and adhere to company standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team setting.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
