Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, assisting customers with their shopping experience, and collaborating with team members to ensure operational efficiency.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's values and competencies in all tasks
• Assist customers, cashier, and maintain cleanliness of the store
• Provide feedback on products and operational issues to management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Follow cash handling procedures and company policies
• Perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and lifting up to 45 pounds

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service
• Operate cash registers and equipment efficiently
• Prior retail experience and high school diploma preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Meet state requirements for alcohol sales
