Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining store operations, including merchandising, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and organized environment for our customers. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will provide exceptional customer service and contribute to an excellent shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory accuracy, and escalate any issues
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies and procedures
• Comply with company policies, ensuring document security and confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement of 18 years
• Proficiency in cashier operations and equipment handling
• Ability to operate relevant store equipment safely and efficiently
• Capable of meeting physical demands such as stocking and lifting up to 45 pounds
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
