Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our ALDI team. As a crucial member of the store operations, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and arrange products neatly
  • Provide outstanding customer service and support
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with management
  • Conduct inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses
  • Follow company policies and procedures, ensuring security and confidentiality

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
  • Efficient operation of a cash register
  • Capability to handle equipment safely and proficiently
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask
  • Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience preferred
  • Combination of education and experience demonstrating equivalent knowledge
