Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a crucial part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure a welcoming shopping environment. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will contribute to providing exceptional customer service and enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain clean store premises, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers and addressing inquiries.
• Communicate effectively with team members and report to store management.
• Give feedback on products, monitor inventory, and participate in store inventory counts.
• Adhere to cash policies and company procedures for loss prevention.
• Uphold company policies, ensuring security and confidentiality of data and documents.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Skilled in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Ability to work independently or within a team environment.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and adept at multitasking.
• High school diploma preferred, with retail experience beneficial.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
