Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash handling policies
• Adhere to company policies and procedures for security and data confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Prior retail experience preferred
• Ability to provide courteous service and operate a cash register
• Aptitude for following company policies and procedures
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Capacity to work both independently and in a team setting
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking abilities

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail work experience is a plus
