Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI store. As a Store Team Member, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, assisting customers, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all. This position offers full-time hours with a starting wage of $19.00 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining the security and confidentiality of data.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register.
• Safely handle equipment and perform general cleaning duties.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and follow instructions effectively.
• Meet all state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
