Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness in our store. Your role is crucial in providing exceptional customer service and enhancing the shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandising displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Participate in inventory management and adhere to company policies
• Follow cash handling procedures
• Perform general cleaning duties
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
• Ability to provide courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safe use of store equipment
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies
• Strong communication skills
• Work effectively in teams
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
