Job Description

Join the ALDI team as a Store Team Member where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service. As a Store Team Member, you will merchandise and stock products, operate the cash register, ensure store cleanliness, and collaborate with team members to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies and professional skills
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Contribute feedback on products and inventory
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies and company procedures
• Adhere to company policies while maintaining security and confidentiality

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Proficient in customer service and cash register operation
• Ability to operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask efficiently
• Meet necessary requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
• Prior retail work experience is a plus
