Job Description

As a Store Team Member at Aldi, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the store is well-maintained. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to create a welcoming shopping environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI mindset and core competencies in daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers with their needs.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counting procedures and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and uphold company procedures.
• Comply with all company policies while ensuring data security and confidentiality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficient in providing courteous customer service and operating a cash register.
• Able to use equipment like hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers.
• Capable of meeting physical demands, including stocking and lifting up to 45 pounds.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
