Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and provides exceptional customer service. From merchandising to cashiering, your contributions will enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's core values and professional competencies consistently
• Process customer transactions, maintain cleanliness and organization in the store
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate efficiently with management
• Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Comply with company policies while maintaining confidentiality and security of information
• Perform other assigned duties as required

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Capable of performing general cleaning tasks and following company guidelines
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Dedication to detail, organization, and multitasking
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol sales
• Prior retail experience or equivalent education preferred
