Job Description

Join our team as a Store Team Member at ALDI and contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and customer-friendly store environment. As a vital part of the store team, you will handle various responsibilities, such as cashiering, stocking merchandise, and providing exceptional customer service.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and store operations
• Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash policies
• Adhere to company procedures and policies while ensuring document security

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in customer service and cash register operations
• Capable of operating store equipment and maintaining cleanliness
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently
• Compliant with state and local alcohol handling regulations

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is advantageous
• A blend of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
